Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar is two months away from release and the makers have already begun the promotions for the film. The first single, Chumma Kizhi, composed by Anirudh Ravichander has been unveiled today by the makers on social media.
The four-minute-long song seems like a celebration where people are hailing Rajinikanth’s character. Along with the song, the makers have released a lyric video with BTS visuals (behind-the-scenes) where Thalaivar is seen shaking the leg to the peppy tune.
Chumma Kizhi is a song that celebrates Rajinikanth and lyrics penned by Vivek speak volumes about the star’s achievements. Anirudh Ravichander has come up with a catchy tune and singer SP Balasubrahmanyam’s voice adds to the grandeur.

Towards the end of the video, Rajinikanth tells Anirudh that he is super impressed with the song and that it will definitely be a celebration when the song in screened in theatres.
Darbar, produced by Lyca Productions, is directed by AR Murugadoss. In the film, Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles – like that of a cop and a social activist. Recently, the makers revealed the motion poster of the Darbar which introduced Rajinikanth’s character as Aaditya Arunasalam.
The commercial entertainer stars Nayanthara, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas and Yogi Babu in important roles. Darbar’s technical team includes composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Santosh Sivan and editor Sreekar Prasad.
